"...Creating compelling images in the wild underwater
is directly related to the time one invests in observation and
execution. When I work underwater, particularly in cold or the
very cold water in Antarctica, my time is very limited and so
are the array of images.
No longer do I face this limitation. With the use of the
PATCO heater system, I was able to invest over 45 minutes in
Antarctica where the temperatures are 32-34 degrees. The heater
provided me with the warmth I needed to concentrate on my
shooting, with enough time to fid interesting subjects and film
their behavior, rather than fight with the chill that usually
forces me to surface after 30 minutes without the images I was
searching for."
